Terms of use
The rules for using Freelytic, in plain language.
Last updated October 15, 2026
What Freelytic is
Freelytic is a free web tool that reads the data files you download from Instagram and shows lists such as who doesn't follow you back. It is operated by SecondEarth (세컨드어스), Seoul, Republic of Korea. By using it, you agree to these terms.
Using it
- Use Freelytic with your own data, or data you have permission to analyze.
- Don't try to break, overload, or misuse the site.
- You're responsible for what you do with the results (for example, whom you unfollow).
No Instagram affiliation
Freelytic is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. “Instagram” is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc., used here only to describe the files the tool reads. Freelytic does not log in to, scrape, or act on your Instagram account.
Accuracy
Results depend on the files Instagram provides. Exports are snapshots and may leave out some accounts (for example deactivated ones), so numbers can differ from what you see in the app. Freelytic is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, SecondEarth is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from using Freelytic. Because the service is free, our total liability is limited to US$50. Nothing here limits rights you have under laws that can't be waived.
Upcoming app and waitlist
The iPhone app mentioned on the site is not available yet. Joining the waitlist doesn't create any purchase or obligation; if we launch paid features, prices will be shown clearly before you pay anything.
Privacy
See our privacy policy for what we collect (in short: analytics without file contents, and your email only if you join the waitlist).
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, except where your local consumer law says otherwise. Questions: sunwoo@secondearth.io.
